The Great Grey Shrike Hunt - A Short Film

The Great Grey Shrike Hunt — A Short Film

Опубликовано: 5 мар. 2012 г.A bit of a journey this one… so I turned the record of the day into a mini-film.
I was overdue a visit to my local reserve, Lakenheath Fen, and it just happened to coincide with both the remnants of the best snowfall of the winter and a visit by a rare Great Grey Shrike, which had been overwintering in the area.
It was a great day's wildlife hunting — with superb views of normally very shy Water Rail, the resident cranes (probably 'Little' and 'Large'), various mammals and, right at the end of the day before a rush to the train, the shrike itself.
I hope you like the film… and music!
