Специалисты сапёрно-пиротехнической группы уничтожили авиационную бомбу, обнаруженную неподалёку от деревни Мольча. Этот взрыв стал закономерным итогом напряжённой, связанной с большой опасностью работы сотрудников милиции и сапёров. Вместе с ними этот день в лесу провёл оператор Владимир Попов. Алтайское село Соколово — всем живется здесь хорошо
Опубликовано: 26 авг. 2016 г.Село расположено в 40 км к западу от Бийска по обоим берегам реки Иткуль, западная часть села выходит в ленточный бор.
На расстоянии 18 км от села железнодорожная станция Западно-Сибирской железной дороги Зональная на линии Барнаул — Бийск[2]. Через село проходит дорога краевого значения Бийск — Акутиха — Солдатово.
В селе расположен Иткульский спиртзавод — один из старейших заводов Алтая, который был основан бийским купцом Бадьиным и бывшим горным чиновником Платоновым в 1868 году. В селе также имеется лесхоз, лесничество, сельскохозяйственные предприятия (свиноводство) и фермерские хозяйства.
